LOVE is in the air.....

Our Valentine fun started the weekend before with Brady getting to bring home the class pet (a stuffed Moose).  The first thing we took Moose to do was pick out Gigi's cupcakes.  Does your town have Gigi's?  They are huge and yummy!
Here is Moose trying to pick out which one he wants

Here is Moose hanging out in a backpack so Brady can take him on a bike ride.

Friday night and Saturday morning Matt and I went to a marriage conference at church.
Saturday afternoon we went to sign up for baseball (yes, it is that time) then went with another family to see Journey 2.  It was great!  Very boy friendly, which was good because there were 6 of them.

Monday it was time to return Moose to school with his journal and the snack bucket.
Brady wanted muffins because Moose has his own book, "If You Give a Moose a Muffin".  In Valentine's spirit I made them in the shape of hearts.

Brady had his Valentine's party on Monday, since he does not go to school on Tuesday's.  We had to leave the party a few minutes early to go to his Kindergarten play group.

You can't tell, but they had heart shaped sandwiches, fruit kabobs with heart shaped orange segments and strawberries and heart shapped carrots.  A lot of mommies on Pinterest. He agreed to wear this shirt for a dollar and if he could give it away to a baby once his party was over.  He changed before going to his play group.

On Tuesday, the boys woke up to their boxes of chocolates.  Cal loves Valentine's Day....a day to spread love and eat chocolate.......it doesn't get much better.

Hasn't been awake 5 minutes and is eating chocolate for breakfast.  It's gonna be a good day!  I did try to make store bought cinnamon rolls into hearts.

Not near as excited about the day as Cal.

Cal had his school party then we came home waited for Matt to get home before all helping make the Barefoot Contessa's Linguine with Shrimp Scampi and lobster tails.
It was delious and a hit with all 4 of us!

This is the leftovers, which was not much, it made a lot.

And last but not least, we love Luigi (most of the time, when he is not in trouble for eating toys, Lego's and stuffed animals. :)

Hope you had a fun Valentine's Day too.

And He's Off

Well one day my baby was just riding his scooter.....

And the next day he asked his daddy to take off his training wheels.

Luigi is not sure he should be doing this on his own

So proud

His bike the "BIG CRUSH!"

We have been to Kindergarten Open House, he has done his testing and he goes to a play group next week.  It looks like my baby is going to Kindergarten next year.
