Birthday Fun!

July is a busy month for birthday's in our family.  Both brother-in-law's, my cousin, mine and my mom's would have been on the 16th.  We felt like we should be together on mom's birthday, so my sister and her family and our family spent a fun weekend in Atlanta together celebrating, mine, mom's and Bob's birthday's.

I'll start with my birthday week.  On my actual birthday I was able to work-out, go to the pool with the boys then have a nice dinner with Matt and the boys.  The next day I had lunch with some friends then a few nights later some friends met for drinks.  I love birthday week!

My flowers from Matt. Wish I had taken a second picture when they all really opened.  They were beautiful!

Matt picked out 3 deserts from Fresh Market because he could not decide on one :)

We went to Dave and Buster's on Saturday, but I didn't take a camera.
We stopped by the mall and picked up a cake to eat after dinner.
Cookie cake....suposed to be a baseball and tennis raquet???

Fun times on the go-cart

Went to the Brave's game on Sunday to celebrate Bob's birthday.
He works for the Brewers and they were in town playing the Braves, so we were able to get a nice box.

On Sunday's, children are allowed to run the bases after the game.

It was a really fun weekend.  Mom would have loved to have been there.

VACATION -HHI

4th of July means our annual family vacation to Hilton Head, SC.  This year was extra special because Matt's parents booked us a house with it's own pool this year.  The house was more than fantastic and having a pool right out our door was great.  Not having to load all our beach/pool stuff in and out of the house was great! Here is our beautiful view.  The porch provided a perfect place to sit and read.

Aunt Amy brought us Pop Its or what Matt called Whipper Snappers

On our way to pick our spot for the fireworks.  This was the only downside to moving to the house.  Had to actually go farther than our patio to see fireworks.

Matt and I both love technology.  DVD player, DS(es), iPhones, Matt wore head phones part of the trip so he could not hear the kids movies.
