Let The Force Be With You

Brady wanted his 4th birthday party to be Star Wars.  We hired an Obi-Wan Kenobi to come and teach the children Jedi moves.  Matt decided to make all the kids their own lightsabers as their "party favor".  It was hot, but all the kids had a great time.

Brady's School Birthday

Brady had birthday snack and Birthday Chapel on Friday.  He could not have it the Friday before his birthday last week becasue they were out for Good Friday.  Brady wanted to make Yoda cookies for his birthday snack.  Matt's mom had sent them a set from WS.  The set comes with 4 characters, but Brady only wanted Yoda.  Really thank goodness because the last time we made them I had to make a different color of frosting for each one.  This only required that I make green.
I think his little hands are the sweetest

Side note about my new kitchen.  There is no lip from the counter into the sink.  You make cookies by the sink then you can just wipe mess into sink.
Before and After icing.  Sorry, no detail once they were iced.

Birthday Chapel is a special time when the birthday children from that week are called up front and everyone sings a birthday blessing song to them then the birthday children help lead a little praise song.  Cal eats this type of attention up.  Brady, not so much.  He does not like being the center of attention.  His teacher saw him give a big, deep sigh when he sat down, as in thank goodness that is over.

He has been waiting to get this crown!

This is what he looks like in about 10 of my pictures

Mrs. Leah had to shake and tickle him for this one smile!
