We took his training wheels off in GA, during our July visit, but he would only coast.
We went out to the golf course one night and he was riding on the greens and took off the first time. He was so excited. This is really practicing one night in August after not riding in a week or so.
Also back in July we went on a long lake weekend with friends and he learned to knee-board and he jumped off the small part of Chimney Rock, "chicken rock". I was on another boat and didn't know he was going until Matt called from our boat that he was going and Brady wanted to go too. I had to jump onto our boat b/c I wasn't sending them up the rock without Matt.
That is him in the navy shirt at the point of the rock-he went twice this day, Matt and Brady just went once.
This really almost made me have a heart attack!

Another mile stone is him going to school all day long. Brady and I miss him terribly.
This is him pretending to have gone back to sleep so he didn't have to get ready for the 1st day of school.

He has Mrs. McNelley this year and she is a serious rule follower! 1st grade is serious stuff!
They have spelling test every Friday and they also memorize a bibile verse each week. We are half way through the 1st nine weeks and he is doing great! He is playing baseball/fall ball and he has started taking karate one day week, which he loves!
I can't believe he will be 7 next month.
Oh, one other mile stone: he spent the night out twice this summer. We have learned with him that he will either stay or he is coming home by 10:00, which has also happened a few times :)
